ABH World Traveler
Anastasia Beverly Hills – World Traveler
You just read the title, and your thinking about the famous brow wiz. While Anastasia in general is famous for her brow products- lets face it, she has single handedly brought our brows into the twenty first century. Its lesser known that she also makes amazing eye shadows.
My husband spoiled me with this palette after I had my Make-Up Kit stolen on my return journey from Europe. I was surprised that the price was 35.00. The colors are creamy, smooth and pigmented. While the color selection varies, there are some neutrals and some exotic colors. I personally love a good diverse palette. I’ve literally worn this palette for the past two weeks. It’s been so fun trying to get as much use out of one palette as possible. I’ve been able to create daytime looks, a night out, smokey eyes and even a cut crease look.
This palette is very versatile it features matte, satin and metallic finishes. The palette also includes some great warm neutrals that are perfect for fall alongside some great colors for exotic looks. Every palette is incomplete in my eyes if it doesn’t include an amazing black. This palette just so happens to have my all time favorite black (EVER). Its called Noir, its creamy, bouncy and uber black.
What the Palette included:
12 Shades with varying finishes
Travel brush- Dual ended
What Shades Are Included in the ABH World Traveler Palette?
Soft Peach: It’s literally a light matte peach color.
Spoiled: It’s a glittered metallic light pink with flecks of shimmer
Morocco: Matte light terracotta (The PERFECT color for fall & my favorite crease color). It’s my everyday shade.
Fudge: A deep rich brown with a red undertone with a creamy matte finish.
Heirloom: a deep violet purple with pink flecks throughout- it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s an intense color!
Azure: It’s the perfect blue for a smoky eye if you don’t want to look like you’re from the 1980’s. It’s a satin finish.
Bellini: Its reminiscent of the Peach Bellini tea at Olive Garden. It’s a warm peach color that has a satin finish.
Intense Gaze: Very similar to Lorac’s eye shadow in Blaze. However this one is CREAMIER! It’s gorgeous to smoke out the lower lash line with practically ANY look.
Pink Champagne: is a girly, frilly color. It’s a metallic pink. It’s gorgeous as an all over lid color or for a fun pop of color. This shade is very versatile. If paired with a neutral it looks more neutral but when paired with Heirloom it looks like a vibrant light pink.
Metallic: is one of my favorite colors in the palette. It’s a metallic olive green meets gold meets beautiful. It’s magnificent.
Chic: is a perfect everyday lid color, it’s a silvered grey color.
Noir: as I mentioned before is the perfect matte black!
The Drawbacks:There are several colors in the palette that I’ve seen before. These colors aren’t innovative or explorative. Many brands have similar, if not the same colors as Spoiled and Chic. I want innovative exciting. The last drawback is the brush. It’s useable but really small. I will always grab for my actual eye shadow brushes.
Overall: This is a great palette. Its great because of how versatile the color selection is. The looks you could create with this are endless. The ABH World Traveler palette is a great piece to add to your collection!
